About Us

Allez Vins! logoHaving owned and managed  a wine-importing business in the UK for years, we gained wide experience and knowledge of French wines – especially the lesser-known regions and vineyards of France.

Travelling widely throughout France, we found many magical places with great views and atmosphere, friendly vignerons (winemakers) and superb wines, many of which are seldom available outside France and are often only made in small quantities.

As for all farmers, winemakers are always looking to improve their reputation and income and fight against the dominance of the supermarkets and big brands who offer large quantities, low prices and often bland quality.

Often their vineyard is also the family home, and has been for generations – these are people firmly rooted in the local area, who know it well and are only too keen to welcome visitors.

Vineyards are often places of great tranquility (except in harvest season) – offer a diverse community of wildlife (especially in these days of increasingly environmentally methods) – and great landscapes often being in valleys and on hillsides to maximise the warmth of the sun.

Staying on a vineyard allows you to combine the glories of France – its landscape, food and wine, and get to meet the French!

We hope you find something to suit your needs and that you enjoy exploring the vineyards of France.

I have held the Cert WSET.(Wine and Spirit Education Trust) in Wines.
