Alsace winegrower Gites – stay in a winegrower’s apartment at Domaine Waegell in Nothalten (67 Bas-Rhin, Alsace-Champagne-Ardenne – Lorraine).
Apartments Domaine Waegell are located in the winemaker’s house in the village but have a separate private entrance. Situated midway between Colmar and Strasbourg this is a perfect base for exploring the vineyards, countryside and villages of Alsace – or popping across the Rhine to the Black Forest! Nothalten is home to the Grand Cru Muenchberg wines.Both gites can accommodate up to 4 people. Chez Le Vigneron offers comfortable and well-equipped en-suite accommodation with kitchen and garden space.
Wines here are typically Alsatian – mainly dry white (Riesling, Gewuztraminer), some sweeter late harvest whites, rosé and sparkling (Crémant) and a little red Pinot Noir.
