The domaine is about 15 minutes from Bergerac and about 1 hr from Bordeaux and is pioneering an organic/bio-dynamic approach to wine making. The domaine has won the prestigious ‘Best of Wine Tourism 2013‘ Gold award for sustainable tourism.

wineThe wines: The village of Saussignac is famous for producing some stunning dessert wines based on the Semillon grape, but as part of the Bergerac appellation reds (Cabernet Sauvingon/Merlot), dry whites (Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon), rosé and demi-sec whites are produced here.

The name is changing from Chateau Haut Garrigue to Chateau Feely – to avoid confusion with other domaines with a similar name, and to be easier to pronounce!
