The Château de Chaintres is a 17th century nobleman’s manor of great charm, situated between the Château de Saumur and the Abbey of Fontevraud on the well known “Route du Vin” at Dampierre-sur-Loire (49 Maine-et-Loire, Pays de la Loire )

Weathered by the centuries, the Château, surrounded by its vineyards and its white limestone walls (its famous“clos”), sits in a calm setting of gardens and trees.

Surrounded by vineyards, the Saumur vineyard chateau’s self-catering cottage Gite Chateau de Chaintres is located in Dampierre-sur-Loire, with a terrace, one bedroom with stone walls and exposed beams and a living room with a sofa.

A washing machine and a tumble dryer are provided. The bathroom is fitted with a hairdryer and a shower. There is  an open-plan kitchen with an oven, a stove and a fridge.
