A Delight in Provence – set in the beautiful countryside of Provence the Winemaker’s House is a perfect holiday stay for wine enthusiasts, walkers, bikers and those wishing to relax and enjoy the many treasures that are to be found in the enchanting department of Vaucluse in Southern France. One of the treasures is the village of Seguret itself which is recognised as one of the “most beautiful villages in France” (Plus Beaux Villages de France)
The house on the vineyard in the hills behind the village of Séguret, has five bedrooms accommodating up to ten people, three bathrooms, two kitchens, and a terrace leading on to a garden and vines. The accommodation can be divided for smaller parties of up to six people who would have the use of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Standing at an altitude of 350 metres the property takes in breathtaking views of the area including Mont Ventoux, which is often used as a stage in the Tour de France cycle race. Some 50km northeast of Avignon on the way to Vaison-la-Romaine. the wines in this area are grown on the hillsides and are of better quality than those grown on the wide valley floor of the Rhône river. Rich, spicy reds are made here plus some fruity whites and rosés.
