Chateau Vincens

Chateau Vincens is a long-established family concern, rated highly amongst the wines of Cahors. Here the vines are under the influence of a variety of climates, including the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, giving warm, dry autumns, which result in perfectly ripe Malbec grape. The red wines of Cahors are dominated by the Malbec grape, which nowadays produces rich, fruity wines, enriched with 15 months of oak ageing. Ressurected in the 1950s the vineyard of Cahors produces rich red wines, originally quite tannic, but much more approachable now that the vignerons have adopted modern techniques.
