Domaine Lachat wine

BEAUJOLAIS wines are fruity, juicy approachable reds made from the Gamay grape. Régnié-Durette prododuces wines that are supple and well-built,  with a cherry-red robe and red currant, blackberry and raspberry aromas. All the major Beaujolais villages are within easy reach of the Domaine – e.g. Morgon, Brouilly, Cote de Brouilly etc. A richer, deeper, wine that retains its freshness with a vibrant acid structure. The concentration and depth of the wine can be attributed to the large percentage of old vines in our vineyard. The twisted old goblet vines are perched on the hillside of Route de Lachat surrounding the winery and inter-planted with fruit trees. One will find expressive aromas of summer-ripe pêche de vignes. Domaine Lachat Regnié is “bright and spiced with flavours of saline and crushed granite stone. Well accompanied by a smokey BBQ dish.”
The Domaine hosts a Beaujolais Wine Weekend (1 – 5 April 2022) as a great introduction to the wines of Beaujolais which includes 4 night stay in one of the Domaine’s luxury gîtes, themed wine tastings and visits, an professional’s tasting event, a welcome BBQ, a winemaker’s lunch and a discount on the domaine’s wines! more info on the Beaujolais Wine Weekend
