The Burgundy wine hotel Ch\u00e2teau de Besseuil<\/a> is located north of M\u00e2con <\/strong>at Cless\u00e9<\/strong> (71 Saone-et-Loire, BFC<\/span><\/em>) and is surrounded by vines  on the southern edge of Burgundy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chateau dates from the  16th-century, with stylish modern rooms which retain some of their original features including exposed beams and fireplaces. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. There is a mix of 14 bedrooms and 6 apartments sleeping up to 6 people, some of which are in the out-buildings of the Chateau. Free wifi.<\/p>\n\n\n

This 4**** hotel offers a restaurant and a wine bar where wine-tastings are offered, including the Chateau’s own wines and others including classic Burgundies and from further afield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here the wine is  l\u2019AOC Vir\u00e9-Cless\u00e9,<\/strong> a combination of the earlier appellations M\u00e2con-Cless\u00e9 and M\u00e2con-Vir\u00e9, in the Maconnais\/C\u00f4te Challonaise parts of southern Burgundy. The wine is 100% Chardonnay, and only white wines are produced.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
