It also gives its name to a dry red wine, formerly C\u00f4tes du Rhone Villages Beaumes-de-Venise, now AC Beaumes-de-Venise. Planted on narrow terraces, known as “restanques<\/em>” or “faysses<\/em>“, and supported by walls, the muscat vines have shaped the region’s landscape – Beaumes-de-Venise muscats are golden in colour, with a nose of flowers and tropical fruits.<\/span><\/em>
