A fully restored 18th Century Chateau which offers 6 large comfortable rooms – Vouvray B&B\u00a0Domaine Des Bidaudieres<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guestrooms, reached via a magnificent stone staircase, are all individually decorated and comfortably furnished with air conditioning and offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, rooms may be reached by lift which also provides access to the swimming pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is also a family apartment with interconnecting rooms available away from the main building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a a large swimming pool surrounded by a flowered terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rooms, each named after one of the Vouvray vineyards, have a views over the estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Loire Chateaux such as Amboise, Chenonceaux, Chaumont sur Loire are nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Domaine does not produce any wines but is surrounded by the vineyards of Vouvray.Vouvray<\/strong> wines are based almost exclusively on the Chenin Blanc grape and are most often found as dry, still and sparkling (petillant<\/em>) white wines, but some vintages can produce sweet wines and even rich dessert wines which can age for many years. So be sure you know what you are buying.There are numerous vineyards to visit\/taste\/buy..One recommended winery is the nearby Chateau Moncontour<\/strong><\/a>. which consistently produces great quality wines across all the styles of Vouvray wines. They also have a wine museum! The local wine co-operative is the Cave des Producteurs de Vouvray <\/strong><\/a>representing about 40 wine growers, which is a little further back from the river. Here you will find a good range of wines at keen prices. Just across the river is the appellation of Montlouis-sur-Loire<\/strong> which also produces Chenin Blanc wines, which tend to be a touch less acidic than those of Vouvray<\/strong><\/em><\/kbd><\/em><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
