Ch\u00e2teau de Fonscolombe<\/a><\/strong> is an 18th-century chateau situated in Le Puy-Sainte-R\u00e9parade<\/strong> (13 Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne, PACA<\/span><\/em>), 8 miles \/ 13 km from Aix-en-Provence<\/strong>. This 5-star hotel offers spacious and luxurious accommodation, including an outdoor pool, and is s set in a 30-acre wooded park, surrounded by 35 hectares of vineyards. In the heart of the Provence Ros\u00e9 area the Chateau de Fonscolombe produces C\u00f4teaux d\u2019Aix-en-Provence Ros\u00e9 AOC and Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne IGP<\/span><\/strong> (white and ros\u00e9) the Fonscolombe vineyards produce excellent wines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The soil is stony clay and sedimentary sand. The vineyard lies at an altitude of 250 metres and the nights are cooler here than further south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ros\u00e9 wine, made mainly by the saign\u00e9e <\/em>method (using the free-run juice), is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes. Pale pink in colour, it is very elegant with a fruity bouquet, fresh, silky and delicate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The red comes from Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon plots and are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, allowing for the reds, whites, and ros\u00e9s to benefit from the \u201cOrganic Wine\u201d label<\/p>\n\n\n\n
