the website which offers you a great selection of vineyards with holiday (or business) accommodation – ranging from modest Bed & Breakfast (Chambres d’Hôtes), Cottages and farmhouses (Gîtes) to elegant hotels – each one amongst the vines, many owned by winemakers and their families who know the local area, geography and history. Choose from classic wine regions or try somewhere lesser-known and explore.
STAY ON A VINEYARD – many winemakers have converted old farm buildings to provide great Gîtes (self-catering cottages/apartments) or Chambres d’Hôtes (Bed & Breakfast Accommodation) on the vineyard! Stylish and characterful accommodation, sometimes in renovated farm buildings surrounded by attractive countryside and with opportunities to learn about wine, and taste and buy the occasional bottle.
Amongst the properties listed are some top rank Bordeaux chateaux, fine Champagne houses and many smaller, more intimate domaines which allow you to experience glimpses of life on a working vineyard and really get to know the wines, winemakes etc
