Ludes is dominated by the huge Canard Duchene winery, which often welcomes coachloads for a tour and tasting. But we would always recommend a smaller, more human- scale winery for a better experience – such as Champagne Ployez-Jacquemart, where you can visit the cellars which are 25 metres /80 feet underground in the chalk!
The domaine offers special Champagne Tasting Breaks – when you can taste a minimum of nine different Premier and Grand crus base wines of Champagne – followed by Dinner (advanced reservation required).
