A family concern built in 1930, the winery at Champagne Ployez-Jacquemart offers bed and breakfast accommodation 12 km from the Champagne capital of Reims.
All the individually decorated rooms are heated and offer a private bathroom with free toiletries and a bath. Some have a four-poster bed and romantic furniture. Outside there is an attractive wooded garden.
Guests are invited to enjoy a buffet breakfast every morning at Domaine Ployez-Jacquemart. Meals prepared by the hosts are also available on request. Wine tastings can be organized at the property.
Ludes is dominated by the huge Canard Duchene winery, which often welcomes coachloads for a tour and tasting. But we would always recommend a smaller, more human- scale winery for a better experience – such as Champagne Ployez-Jacquemart, where you can visit the cellars which are 25 metres /80 feet underground in the chalk!
Ployez-Jacquemart is a family Champagne House created in 1930 by Marcel Ployez and his wife Yvonne Jacquemart. Ployez-Jacquemart Champagne is to be found on the wine lists of gourmet restaurants in France and internationally – a clear testament to the domaine’s consistent pursuit of perfection. Exquisite food and the full range of Ployez-Jacquemart wines can also be enjoyed by visitors to the estate. Dry(Brut), Rosé and Vintage Champagnes are produced here.
The domaine offers special Champagne Tasting Breaks – when you can taste a minimum of nine different Premier and Grand crus base wines of Champagne – followed by Dinner (advanced reservation required).
