Each wine from the Maison Borgeat range is carefully produced in a traditional way. Château Borgeat de Lagrange is a neo-Gothic castle of exceptional beauty built in 1856.

Blaye is on on the Gironde river north of Bordeaux. There is an impressive UNESCO listed Citadelle/castle overlooking the river. A ferry (pedestrians and vehicles) can get you across to the vineyards of the Medoc, whilst the city of Bordeaux lies 55km/35 miles to the south (vineyards all the way), and Cognac (Brandy and Pineau des Charentes) is just 80km/59 miles north.
