In the heart of the Provence Rosé area the Chateau de Fonscolombe produces Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence Rosé AOC and Bouches-du-Rhône IGP (white and rosé) the Fonscolombe vineyards produce excellent wines.

The soil is stony clay and sedimentary sand. The vineyard lies at an altitude of 250 metres and the nights are cooler here than further south.

The rosé wine, made mainly by the saignée method (using the free-run juice), is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes. Pale pink in colour, it is very elegant with a fruity bouquet, fresh, silky and delicate.

The red comes from Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon plots and are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, allowing for the reds, whites, and rosés to benefit from the “Organic Wine” label
