A wine merchant had an imposing house built as his family home in a prime location on the prestigious Avenue de Champagne in Epernay. Over two centuries later, this same house has been lovingly and tastefully restored to reflect the image and style of La Maison Champagne Leclerc Briant.
The aim of the project has been to breathe new life into the original house and to rediscover the original owner’s passion for learning more about the world.

Champagne Leclerc-Briant is one of the most respected names in Champagne, having pioneered Bio-dynamic and single vineyard Champagnes. The Champagne House of Leclerc-Briant produces a wide range of Champagnes, and feature organic and bio-dynamic wines in their portfolio of 3 ranges of Champagne – the ‘Classic’ range, a blend which easily and naturally reveals the personality of the fruit without any interference and with only a very small proportion of reserve wine added. The ‘Single Vineyard’ and ‘Specialty’ ranges are champagnes designed to express the quintessential nature of the terroirs they come from.

One of their Non-Vintage (NV) Champagnes (Blanc de Meuniers Premier Cru Brut Zéro) scored 91/100 in a tasting of the top 40 NV Champagnes in Decanter Magazine (Dec 2019)

The owners of Champagne Leclerc-Briant also own the Royal Champagne Hotel at Champillon, 5 km/3 miles outside Epenay amongst the vines.
