The appellation of Margaux is considered by many to be the most sensual and alluring of all Bordeaux. At its peak is the Premier Grand Cru Classé of Chateau Margaux, but the wider appellation includes other famous wine chateaux, such as Chateau Giscours and Chateau du Tertre. The reds are made predminantly from Cabernet Sauvignon with some Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
