The Chateau was originally built in the 14th Century, modernised and improved since, to provide generously spacious en-suite bedrooms. a garden with a swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Guests are welcomed with a glass of wine.
The Chateau offers both double B&B rooms and self-catering cottages sleeping up to 12 people. The chateau is fortified with four towers around a square courtyard. The interior has been restored to a very high standard. The bedrooms are all individually decorated with some amazing pieces of furniture.
The self-catering cottage sleeps up to 12 in 5 bedrooms and has its own swimming pool. This spacious holiday home includes 1 living room, kitchen, 5 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a bath and a shower.

Chateau de Castelneau, Entre-de-Mers
This family-owned Bordeaux chateau produces several styles , including a dry white Entre-Deux-Mers AOP made from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Muscadelle grapes; A Bordeaux red, a rosé and a Bordeaux Clairet rosé based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot – the wine which gave birth to the term “claret”.
Loïc de Roquefeuil and his wife Diane took over this family estate in 1998.
The Chateau de Castelneau top cuée white wine Cuvée Hommage is an Entre-Deux-Mers AOC made from 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon Gris and is a dry soft, full-bodied wine with ripe white-fruit flavors.
The Chateau also produces red and rosé Bordeaux wines.
Wine tasting
Private and group guided tours are offered, focused on tasting and discovery of the land. One of the owners, Loïc or Diane de Roquefeuil, will take you back in the time through an exciting tour !
