In Carcès (83 Vaucluse, Provence) the Chateau de Sainte Croix is a family-run establishment which offers vineyard B&B accommodation with a gourmet Restaurant, (le Patriarche), cellar and vineyard tours in the heart of Provence. Located in a magnificent setting on the former lands of the Thoronet Abbey, the chateau produces great Côtes de Provence wines and is on the wine route (Route des vin de Provence). The chateau is situated a few kilometers north-east of Brignoles.

These are Côtes de Provence wines – The terroir of the Côtes de Provence appellation is beautiful for its vines with a complex geology that is particularly conducive to wine-making. The Chateau produces rich reds; classic dry, summery Provence Rosés made from a delciate blend of Grencache and Syrah grapes; and some interesting white wines.
