Chateau Larroze
Booking.com

A few miles to the north of Gaillac at Cahuzac-sur-Vère, (81 Tarn, Occitanie) is the Gaillac vineyard B&B at Chateau Larroze.

This small 19th Century chateau is a Gaillac vineyard B&B and is surrounded by vines – an oasis of calm, offering  2 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, one of which opens directly onto the terrace.  The grounds and the swimming pool, overlooking the neighbouring vineyards, offer the perfect place to relax.

This location is ideal for visiting the vineyards of Gaillac, Gaillac, Albi (with its cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum) and the picturesque village of Cordes-sur-Ciel. Even Toulouse is worth a visit.

wine label

Gaillac

Chateau Larroze produces a range of Gaillac wines : red, rosé and whites from dry to sweet and lightly sparkling (petillant). The grape varieties are distinctly local such as Braucol, Loin de l’Oeil, Fer Servadou and Duras, supplemented by some more mainstream grapes. Gaillac can claim to be one of the oldest wine regions in France dating back to Roman times,
The Gaillac blanc is a dry, clean white with a slight greenish tint, with tastes of slight red berries and dried plum. The Gaillac Methode Ancestrale wines are made entirely from Mauzac grapes. [Pierre Hourlier wines]
