The B&B at the striking Château Tour Saint-Fort is located in the prestigious Saint-Estèphe appellation area, very near the Gironde estuary and approximately 60km from Bordeaux city centre.

This historic, 18^th-century building was completely refurbished in 2017 to provide a perfect fusion of history and modernity.

Surrounded by its own 10-hectare/ 24 acre vineyard, the chateau’s first floor houses 5 spacious, comfortable guest rooms. Each features its own specific design and exudes a cosy atmosphere that spirits your mind away to far-off lands. Château Tour Saint Fort – Saint Estèphe

The Chateau produces 2 cuvées of Saint Estèphe – a Cru Bourgeois and the Baron d’Estours. Made from a blend of 48% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot grapes. The vintage is structured through barrel ageing for at least 12 months, and the management of oakiness is proportionate to the quality of the end wines. As a general rule, the percentage of new oak is no higher than 40% for the Château Tour Saint-Fort.

The most northerly of the Left Bank appellations, Saint-Estèphe is home to a number of leading estates and can produce structured wines of finesse, which age well.
