Just 10 minutes drive from the heart of the historic wine village of Saint Emilion (33 Gironde, Nouvelle Aquitaine) B&B Chateau Valandraud (run by winemakers Jean-Luc and Murielle Thunevin) offers 5 luxurious en-suite rooms – and there is a terrace, hot tub and swimming pool! Free wifi.
The accommodation features a garden with a furnished terrace and each air-conditioned room has views of the vineyards, and all are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Each en suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, bathrobes and free toiletries. Continental breakfast is served daily, and you can use the main kitchen to prepare other meals.
Château Valandraud, St Emilion Grand Cru
Château Valandraud,was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 2012 Classification of Saint-Emilion wine] The vineyard is located on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region in the commune of Saint-Émilion. The blend is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.The wine is aged in new oak barrels for 28 months.
The Château also produces the second wines, Virginie de Valandraud and 3 de Valandraud, and the Kosher wine Château Valandraud Kosher
