Many consider Montrachet to be the greatest white wine in the world (and one of the most expensive! Here at Domaine des Closeaux Jacques Bavard makes a range of excellent white Burgundies – The first vintage from this estate was produced in 2005. The wines are aged from 18-20 months. Wines include Bourgogne Blanc, Auxey-Duresses, Santenay and Saint Aubin.
There is also a bright and pleasant tasting room “le Bouchon” where meals can also be served by prior arrangement.
