published annually and as a wine buyer I found it very useful for identifying which of the many vineyards in each appellation to try/taste/visit.
– The key thing which distinguishes this guide from others is that all the wines are tasted blind by experts and no advertising from wine producers, negociants etc are accepted.
The 2023 edition tasted 35,000 wines , and selected just 8,000. It provides details and tasting notes as well as information about each region and recent trends. Details include tasting notes of selected wines and a little about the domaine – opening times, contact details, awards etc. Also includes wines from Switzerland and Luxembourg!
