A 5-star luxury hotel located in Bordeaux (33 Gironde, Nouvelle Aquitaine), the Grande Maison de Bernard Magrez is a 19th-century private mansion surrounded by landscaped gardens.

Bernard Magrez is one of the big names in Bordeaux and the world of wine in France. Born 1936, he owns four Grands Crus Classés wine estates in Bordeaux, including Château La Tour Carnet, Château Pape Clément, Château Fombrauge and Clos Haut-Peyraguey. He also owns a large number of wine producing properties in other French wine regions and other countries, including Spain, Portugal, Chile, Argentina, Japan, Morocco and California.
The six luxury guest rooms combine charm, elegance and sophistication: with a reworked Napoléon III style, decked out in floral pinks, greens and violets, and sparkling raspberry, they are absolutely charming, and showcase French master craftsmen, with embroidered fabrics.
Although they all have their own character, each is a comfortable, cosy haven. Sumptuously thick bath towels and soft bathrobes and slippers make the grey Carrara and travertine marble bathrooms a sanctuary of relaxation.

24-hour room service and free Wifi & broadband internet access. The on-site gastronomic restaurant serves dishes elaborated by the world renowned chef Joël Robuchon which can be paired with wines the hotel’s cellar
Centrally situated in Bordeaux, and although not on a vineyard the richness of the hotel’s wine cellar and the wine credentials of Bernard Magrez provide adequate compensation for the wine lover.
