Surrounded by its vineyard, below Séguret ( one of the loveliest villages in France) the Hotel / Restaurant offers a beautiful terrace as well as a covered pool. The Domaine de Cabasse offers 21 double rooms, either double or two single beds, has just been renovated. Each room enjoys a private bathroom, TV, telephone and a safe. All rooms on the first floor have a private terrace or a balcony, where you can enjoy the generous sun of the south and the cool evening air.
A small path bordered by lavender and olive groves leads you down to the covered pool. The restaurant offers a good selection of local fare and wines.

Official Guide to the Most Beautiful Villages of France

In the surrounding countryside you will be able to discover the wonderful roman sites (Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange), explore the Dentelles de Montmirail (hillsides) or visit one of the most colourful villages of the area, Séguret, ranked one of prettiest villages in France.

“Wine, olives, truffles, cheese and local fruits and vegetables… Provence opens its treasures to you.”

Cabasse wine

Domaine de Cabasse

Here the red, white and rosé wines made are classified as Côtes du Rhône-Villages (Séguret and Sablet) and Gigondas and are made from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Roussane, Clairette and Viognier grapes. I can recommend the excellent Cuvée Casa Bassa – an oak-aged blend of Syrah and Grenache! The en-site caveau offers tastings and the opportunity to purchase the Domaine’s wines

Séguret is about 50km north-east of Avignon.
