The Hotel de Vougeot is a charming hotel set in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards close to the Chateau « Clos de Vougeot »between Dijon and Beaune. The rustic buildings are made of hand-carved wood and stone. Sixteen rooms are located in three buildings, which offer a degree of privacy. There is an on-site wine cellar – with a selection of wines and a water-well .
Wines from the Bertagna vineyard and others are on sale. You will be able to purchase a range of different wines from a lot of domains of the region. You can also drink your wine on the patio in front of the vineyards. You may taste these wines with a cold platter served in the hotel. All the rooms are equipped with a bathroom, TV and minibar. Some of them overlook the vineyards and the Chateau de Clos de Vougeot.
The wines here are from the Côte de Nuits (AOC) Vougeot and can be red (Pinot noir)and white wines (Chardonnay) as the main grape varieties. However the rather exclusive Grand Cru Clos de Vougeot dominates the appellation.
