Just 100 metres from the ancient Church of Gevrey, Hotel Les Deux Chèvres (The Two Goats) is a former winery in the world-renown Burgundy wine village of Gevrey Chambertin (21 Côte d’Or, BFC) on the Route des Grands Crus.

A successful conversion over the last few years of two ancient but completely dilapidated old buildings in a magnificent and privileged position at the foot of the Combe de Lavaux in the wine village of Gevrey Chambertin.

Located just south of Dijon (1.5 hours south of Paris and less than 6 hours from St Pancras by TGV), making it a perfect choice for a weekend break from Paris or London.   It occupies a beautiful location, surrounded on three sides by vineyards, in two historic buildings on the Rue de L’Eglise in the ‘Old Quarter’ of the village. A collection of original art is available for guests enjoyment throughout the properties.

Gevrey Chambertin

Gevrey Chambertin is the largest wine producing commune in the Côte de Nuits – it has 9 out of the region’s 24 Grand Crus wines, and with Vosne Romanée, is one of the two most important red wine producing villages in Burgundy.  Wine has been produced in Gevrey since Roman times. The hotel is surrounded by the vineyards of the foremost vignerons of the village –  Domaine Rousseau, Claude Dugat and Denis Mortet.
