Entre-deux-Mers is a large sub-area of Bordeaux wine region . Its name translates literally as ‘between two seas’, although the ‘seas’ are the rivers – the Garonne and Dordogne, which form the area’s boundaries to the north and south.Entre-deux-Mers occupies a substantial quadrant of the Bordeaux region, stretching from Bordeaux city in the west almost all the way to the limits of Bergerac in the east.
